The Dog Died: A Midwestern Case Study Yianni Papadimos

About This Show

Alex is gay and lives with his ex-girlfriend. They’ve just finished their first year of law school at the University of Michigan when he finds out his childhood dog is dead. Alex and his brother George meet up with their dear friends Bart (a teacher) and Devin (a general manager at the Panera Bread on Sawmill Road) to honor the dog’s life. As the boys drink and laugh, the complexities of their views regarding race, sexuality, and past mistakes rise to the surface. They are forced to confront their opinions of each other as well as of themselves.
