About the Artist

Lavinia Roberts (playwright) is an award-winning  playwright, puppet designer, and educator.  She is published with Applause Books, Big Dog Plays, Brooklyn Publishers, Heuer Publishing, Plays: The Drama Magazine for Young People, Pioneer Drama, Redleaf Press, Smith and Kraus, and others. She has received productions in 50 states and internationally overseas in Australia, Canada, Ireland, South Africa, Turkey, and The United Kingdom. 

Sarah M. Chichester (director) is a NYC based award-nominated theatre director. Her work has been seen at the Lynn Redgrave Theatre, Soho Playhouse, TinyRhino, Dixon Place, The Living Theatre, NYTW’s 4th St. Theatre, Littlefield, The Wild Project, Paradise Factory, Under St. Marks, and Manhattan Theatre Source. She’s had the honor of being nominated for three theatre awards from Planet Connections Theatre Festivity (Outstanding Direction & 2 Outstanding Productions) and one from The Midtown International Theatre Festival (Outstanding Theatre) and was awarded the 2014 Congeniality Award and 2015 Greener Planet Award both at Planet Connections. Her work has debuted Off-Broadway, Off-Off-Broadway, regionally in New York (various locations in the city & state), Illinois (Chicago and Southern Illinois), Cleveland, New Jersey, Florida, and Washington D.C. and with internationally in Israel. Education: MA in Educational Theatre from NYU
