In the Lounge [ taking ] space Katie Madison

About This Show

[ taking ] space a song cycle with music and words by Katie Madison.  Nodding classical and contemporary musical theatre styles, this genre-bending piece fuses spoken word and music of the African diaspora to explore how the stories of our past, affect the tales of the present if we are ever going to shape the narratives of the future.
