Strange Weather Alexa Andreas

About This Show

Inspired by Tom Waits and using solely his music, Strange Weather is a cross-genre, live dance-theater piece that focuses on a man’s sharp spiral into loneliness through the ghosts of his younger self and of a venomous, electrifying woman who reveals to him his deepest flaws and fears.  Set in an abandoned piano bar to which the man is fettered, the piece follows a life condemned to brutal memory. He is steered by a spectral band, a driving rhythm, and the haunting woman whose very existence costs him his sanity and possibly his life.
