In the Lounge spare change Daniel Lund Holstein

About This Show
In a part spoken word, part public lecture, and part dark comedy multimedia performance, Daniel explores the connection between the 2008 Financial Crisis and the 2016 Political Nightmare. He builds the bridge between the belief that the free market alone can save us and the notion that a reality television star alone can fix it. The audience is invited to take a tour that includes curated media moments designed to capture the political economic storytelling that enabled a clown to run the circus. Disclaimer: the show’s only answers are questions.
About the Artist
Daniel Lund Holstein has appeared as a reluctant paper boy, blasé sandwich artist, legal file clerk, minister’s assistant, waiter, political organizer, dashing high-volume club bartender, pediatrics E.M.T, Ivy League graduate cum laude with a B.A. in Intellectual History and Economics, gritty cab driver, Bronx teacher, door-to-door union organizer, and Math for America Master Teacher. In that order.
He has also appeared as a spoken word artist in numerous shows over the years, most recently as the Emcee in Daily Psongs, where his father attended and said, “Son, I may have fallen asleep, but you’ve really got it.”
