Created & performed by Maggie Moore & Elizabeth Ziff
A musical story of friendship, fringe fame and the creative path. Carole Willis Walker is an aging folk singer and is reunited with her counterpart guitarist, tink after 35 years, to perform songs from their lost album “Starpath”. Carole Willis Walker and tink had a hit on the folk charts in the late 80’s and out of necessity are performing their entire album again live for their dedicated fans, and really, as tribute to themselves. They have no clue that no one really knows who they are anymore, but believe so much in their music and their message. Carole, our storyteller and songwriter couldn’t be more sincere describing her romantic and musical partnership with tink and a bygone day in the women’s music scene. The original songs are quirky and poignant. The show is a folk concert, an homage to a time in womens music and live music that in many ways is disappearing today.
