Sister is a ghost story about a little girl trapped in time by sexual trauma. A collision of memoir, drag, and images from William Faulkner’s The Sound and the Fury, Sister asks the audience to come face to face with the parts of themselves that have been abandoned.

About the Artist

Natalie C. Houchins is a writer and actress from Austin, Texas, whose work explores the melancholic complexities of identity, specifically as it relates to gender and sexuality. Her work is often grounded in true events, both personal and collective. Seahorse, a feature-length screenplay co-written with director Rommel Eclarinalis currently in pre-production. She recently wrote, produced, and starred in a web series entitled Kahla and Natalie Reach Enlightenment, which can be found on YouTube. She has been trained at Interlochen Center for the Arts, the British American Drama Academy, and the National High School Institute. BA: Northwestern.
