A Dixon Place & Necessary Outlet presentation

A special evening of LGBTQ+ monologues, scenes, and live music from up and coming composers/musicians Mae Krell and Sug Daniels.

Sug Daniels is a singer, songwriter and producer who is using the tools around her to capture the emotions of an era. Daniels’ work is as colorful, vulnerable, and charismatic as her personality. She thoughtfully combines elements of folk, R&B, and low-fi alternatives to create personal and tender music interlaced with messages of truth and positive change.

Jack Tracy is the creative director of Necessary Outlet Productions–an LGBTQ+ production company focusing on independent films, original online content, podcasts and music. Jack is most notable for his web series “History”, film “Snowflake”, as the co-host of the “Dying Alone, Together” podcast and as a recording artist (music available everywhere music is sold). Mae Krell is in the midst of a new era. Over a production backdrop of chirping birds, swirling guitars and children playing, Mae expresses her introspective lyrics with a newfound maturity and understanding. With a multitude of career milestones already under her belt, Mae is taking it one day at a time, focused on writing and recording songs that reach new emotional heights. “The slight quiver in their voice feels like an exposed nerve: intimately vulnerable, afraid, and uncertain,” writes Sunlight Magazine of Mae’s 2021 release “are you sure?” Most recently, Mae has teamed up with artist and multi-instrumentalist Jakob Leventhal for their new break-up ballad “colorblind”.
