The Red Umbrella Project (RedUP) is a small and feisty community-based organization in New York that does sex worker-led memoir, theatre, media, and advocacy workshops as well as community organizing around stigma, discrimination, and violence against people in the sex trades. We publish the lit journal Prose & Lore: Memoir Stories About Sex Work twice a year.
