About the Artists
Rorie Kelly is a ladybeast musician from Sound Beach, NY. Her life’s mission is to create music that inspires women and the LGBT community to love themselves fiercely and become their own heroes. Rorie’s 2016 release Rising Rising Rising received rave reviews from local press, and gave her an opportunity to perform at the Obama White House. Now in 2017, she is gigging often and working on a new release that promises to be “big, dark, and magical.”
Lynne DeSilva-Johnson is a nonbinary artist and author working in performance, exhibition/installation, and publication in conversation with new media. She is a visiting assistant professor at Pratt, founder and Managing Editor of The Operating System, and Libraries Editor at Boog City. She is author of Ground, and Blood Atlas, and co-author of A GUN SHOW with Adam Sliwinski / So Percussion. Lynne also publishes zines and artist books under The Trouble With Bartleby; she recently released “Progeny Restoration Corporation,” as Vol.I of the Fighting Words series (May 2017).
Aimee Herman is a performance poet with two full-length books of poems.
