PYM: A New Musical Sarah Fiete

About This Show

PYM is a modern adaptation of Edgar Allan Poe’s only novel. This darkly comic adventure tale follows water-treading twenty-somethings Pym and A.B, best friends from Nantucket whose directionless lives take a turn for the wild when they meet eccentric Captain Block and her nervous first mate Dirk.

From friendship to cannibalism, romance to murder, stunning islands to terrifying cryptids, Pym uncovers the things that never really change at sea. With a vibrant, folk-infused indie rock score, this new musical follows a mutiny, a mystery, and a sidekick who must become the hero of her own story.
