dixon place presents Puppets Come Home: A Light in the Darkness

Join Puppets Come Home at Dixon Place for a puppet slam featuring a dynamic line-up of performers, whose work will explore the theme ‘A Light in the Darkness.’ Co-hosted and co-produced by Tau Bennett, Camille Cooper, and Brendan Schweda.

Puppets Come Home! is an NYC-based puppetry series that celebrates local puppet history, and provides a platform for contemporary cutting-edge puppeteers.

This slam is funded in part by the Puppet Slam Network. A puppet slam is an evening of curated short-form puppet acts for a grown-up audience.

Dixon Place puppetry programs are made possible, in part, with generous support from Cheryl Henson; the Jim Henson Foundation; New York State Council on the Arts w/the support of Governor Hochul & the NY State Legislature; the NYC Dept of Cultural Affairs w/the City Council; and kind donors like you!
