A seat for contemplation is left maimed on the side of a road, an authentic impulse turns into a loop and loses itself, a meaningful posture descends into vanity and becomes simple imitation. These are remnants of us all–eager, wanting, with bodies unmoved.
about the artist
Lola Guerrero is an artist and theatre-maker. Her most recent original work, There Was Space, explored paralysis, intimacy, the placing of value in objects and people, cowardice versus courage, and pettiness. She is a graduate of the Experimental Theatre Wing at NYU Tisch.
