Audience members return (month after month) to support past, present, and brand new performance artists as they try out never before seen material, currently LIVE IN THE LOUNGE at the infamous Dixon Place.  All are encouraged to perform in this monthly showcase of actors, singers, comedians, dancers, monologuists, filmmakers, instrumentalists, drag performers, and burlesque entertainers. Join this sensational, tipsy, outrageous, and non-judgmental crowd as we laugh, cry, and ponder the ever changing artistic endeavours of our New York City family- free!

about the host

Stephen Michael Rondel is a theater fanatic, an actor, comedian, teacher, director, producer, variety show host, and popular bartender at Dixon Place.  As creator and founder of Muffins In The Window, he has curated and performed at The Greenwich Village Center, The Celebration Of Whimsy, The Kraine and The Stonewall Inn.  Stephen was the founder, owner and managing director of The Celebration Of Whimsy (a.k.a. The C.O.W). in the old Living Theater’s 3,000 square foot basement on Clinton Street from 2013-2016.  Stephen is best know as “Baby Marvin” in Angela Di Carlo’s long running series, The Mad World Of Miss Hathaway, a Mad Men musical parody.  Look for him on stage all over New York City.
