Michelangelo Burning Composed by Lucas Tahiruzzaman Syed, Choreographed by Benjamin van Buren

About This Show

One of history’s greatest sculptors and painters reveals his complex and turbulent inner life in a medium for which he is less known, but in which he was no less accomplished and prolific. In MICHELANGELO BURNING the poetry of Michelangelo Buonarotti is brought to the stage via an original score, choreography, and the acclaimed English translation of James M. Saslow.
