Meditating with my Parents features stories for anyone who has ever felt like their relationship with their parents is too close, have ever done drugs,  meditated or had insomnia for one week. Candy & cartoons will be provided. The artists encourage verbal feedback & donations.

About the Artists

Diana Stahl‘s plays have been read, developed or performed with Rattlestick Playwrights Theater, The New Group, Stable Cable Lab Co, Center Stage, Overturn Theater Ensemble, Dixon Place, Rising Phoenix Rep & the Sewanee Writers Conference. She was a 2014 Playwriting Fellow at the Sewanee Writers Conference. Her first play Helping People was a Semi-Finalist for the 2012 National Playwrights Conference & developed with Rattlestick Playwrights Theater & IRT. Her newest play East Colfax was a Finalist for the 2015 National Playwrights Conference; was mentioned on the 2015 Kilroy’s honorable mention list; & had development with The New Group & Rising Phoenix Rep. Diana was born & raised in California by her parents (aka Meditation teachers). She believes in positive organic matter but avoids Rhona Byrne. She recently wrote an article for xojane.com that had more than 600 shares.

Luke Santy is Co-Artistic Director of the theater ensemble Little Did Productions & has composed/arranged/performed music for every one of their productions. Since graduating from Skidmore College in 2009 after studying music & theatre, Luke has also worked with directors such as Phil Soltanoff (maddogg experimental), Hanne Tierney (five myles), Judith Sloan (earsay), Brian Scott (SITI Company) & Joanna Settle. Eddie Prunoske is a theater director interested in new plays, old plays & site specific events.  He aims to create intimate, informal, communal experiences. His work has been seen at the new ohio theatre, house of yes, the flea, incubator arts project, ensemble studio theater, irt, nyu tisch/atlantic, carnegie mellon university & some other theaters, basements, bars & lofts.
