Medea Blitz Kym Bernazky & William Cook

About This Show

A two-person experimental theater piece that takes a critical look at the evolution of how humans communicate and share information starting from smoke signals to the cacophony of media today. Using Marshal McLuhan, Viewpoints, and mosaic storytelling as influence, the piece takes a deep, satirical look into the mythical rise and fall of the Medea Icon.

This ia an AEA Approved Showcase.

About the Artists

Kym  Bernazky is a theater-artist specializing in immersive-physical theater.  She earned her BFA Drama at NYU and was artistic-director/founder of Six Characters: an all-silent, postmodern-vaudeville ensemble. She read to pigeons at “the event of a thread” at The Armory.  Kym has trained with SITI Company where she met William Cook*. William has performed in local, regional, and professional theater for longer than he cares to remember, doing mostly musical theater, but dipping in occasional works of Shakespeare, Chekhov, and Beckett.  He’s proud to have made headway towards being a good human. Oh, and he’s a Marxist at heart. ¡Viva La Revolución!
