In the Lounge Mad Dog Grudges Molly McCloy

About This Show

“Did my great-grandfather stab people with his dinner fork?” is the first sentence of Mad Dog Grudges, the story of a screwed-up family trying to end a legacy of violence and addiction. While celebrating her college graduation in 1993, Molly McCloy confronted her father with nine grudges and demanded an apology. Now, as both of her brothers enter treatment for heroin addiction, McCloy re-examines these grudges. From a failed trip to Disneyland to her father’s mad-dog behavior during birthday parties and holidays, the grudges could be used to fuel self-destruction, or they could inspire reconciliation and forgiveness. Mad Dog Grudges is a candid and often humorous exploration of family dysfunction.
