Love Stories My Mother Told Me is a solo exploration of how the past informs the present and what our parents teach us about giving and receiving love. Using live feed projection, first and second-hand memories, and artifacts from the past, Love Stories begs questions without answers and explores youth, confusion, indecision, and the unknown.
About the Artist
Katie Pedro is an NYC based director and theatre maker interested in discovering new stories and mythologies using history, multi-media performance, and experiments in staging. Directing credits include: The Cherry Orchard (Dyckman Farmhouse), Fefu and Her Friends (Sarah Lawrence College) and Marpessa: An Idyll of Constancy and Consent (Self-produced).
