In the Lounge Lavender Menace I'm Trying

About This Show
In the early 1970s, a group of women self-identified as the radicalesbians found themselves rejected from the Gay Liberation Front (because sexism) and the National Organization of Women (because homophobia). In response, they threw their own damn parties and planned their own damn protests–and their determination to be heard and to make change paid off. They came into their own as activists and found themselves with the momentum, the womanpower, and the ideas needed to start making some serious change. So why did it all suddenly begin to dissolve? How did this great potential stay unsatisfyingly unresolved? What happened?
