About This Show
‘Him and Him and Him and Him’ is a study of masculinity and a non-linear biographical exploration of the male relationships that have haunted my life. These white ghosts—anonymous sex partners, lovers, abusers—have defined my black body with every touch. This black and white ghost story is contrasted with a fantasy of a different haunt: a married businessman clad with yellow latex gloves and his wife, who secretly follows him on his pursuit for gay sex. That is where our two stories intersect.
about the artist
Nile Harris is a Brooklyn based actor, performance artist, and director. He is a recent graduate of the University of North Carolina School of the Arts with a BFA in Drama. Nile has presented his performance work at Soletree Barn, Miami Art Walk, and various nightlife venues.
