in the lounge Gershwin Live: Mind on Heaven Featuring Ben Williams and Brian Cagle With assistance from Max Bernstein

About This Show

Part tribute, part wake, part meditation, MIND ON HEAVEN explores the boundaries of memory and embodiment. Using live audio and video mixes, original animation, archival texts, storytelling, and dance, two performers tune in to the vibrations of the late Dennis Palmer, a self-taught, avant-garde musician and painter of the American South.

Gershwin Live is an evolving 21st century salon, artists with fearless & distinctive voices are given free rein to present theater, dance, film, cabaret, ghost stories, music & uncategorizable hybrids. Curated by Michael Wiener & Neke Carson.
