Sibyl Kempson: mild-mannered but bumbling college professor by day. The theatrical writings of her students were so surprising and brilliant in the Spring semester that she suffered a series of mild strokes. In the midst of filing a lawsuit against them as a way of getting revenge, seeing justice done, and also of ‘cashing in’ (as she was quoted to have said in the campus literary journal/scandal rag), she had a better idea. This performance evening is that idea.

7 Daughters of Eve Thtr. & Perf. Co. was founded in April of this year by Sibyl Kempson. Sarah Lawrence College was founded in 1926 under the motto “WISDOM WITH UNDERSTANDING.” Both institutions espouse feminist ideals that are potentially destructive to certain establishments currently in power.
