Ruby Lynn Reyner is best known for her musical comedy background with The Playhouse Of The Ridiculous for which she won A Drama Desk Award. She formed her band, ‘The Rednecks’ using musicians she met in her theater work.  Her band was at the forefront of the music scene during the punk era of Max’s and CBGB’s.  She has always veered on the EDGE of Country Music. Ruby now presents her most Countrified Repertoire.

About the Artist

Ruby Lynn Reyner of Stage, Screen & Rock & Roll Juke Joints has a career that spans to the present day. Original ingenue of the Playhouse Of The Ridiculous, Ruby is a winner of The Drama Desk Award for La Bohemia, and Emmy Nominee for the Documentary, “Finishing Heaven”. Ruby & the Rednecks created 2CDs; “From the Wrong Side of Town” & “Live Again at CBGBs” (sold on her websites) Ruby sang in many Playhouse productions so she decided to start a band; Ruby And The Rednecks with musicians she had collaborated with.
