A 9 year old girl and her young brother battle real and fantastic dark forces: absent mothers, pot-growing divorced dads, hippie math teachers, magic rocks, psychotic neighbors, spider demons, and the ever present Green Hook Man.

About the Artist

Fran Pado is a storyteller who writes dark musical fairy-tales for grownups in collaboration with her four-piece psych-folk band Goddess, which features homemade and dime-store instruments. Their theatrical piece Golden Vines and Honey Wine ran at Autoversion gallery in 2007. Goddess has an album and two EPs and has played around the New York area and live on WFMU.
