About This Show
Here is a new kind of bedtime story. One day, the sky bent down low and kissed the sea. They became lovers and from their love a child was born; it was both fish and bird. The fish/bird had to learn itself and the world (as we all do), while also navigating the confusion, misplaced anger, and obsession of the other creatures who could not fathom it being more than one thing. FISH/BIRD will combine excerpts from this short story, poems, and comedy from T. Wise, a real-life fish/bird.
about the artist
T. Wise, aka Little Boy Blue, is a storyteller, comedian, and lyricist. In 2015, Blue premiered his first one-man show, HeartHeaded, which weaves together his art forms to cover a range of topics from God to RuPaul, Jim Crow to juvenile jails, bipolar disorder to psychedelic drugs. Blue is currently working on a series of essays about his experiences as a trans man, local comedy shows, a mixtape, and a screenplay about the wild ride of queer masculine folks.
