Performing “A Woman’s Journey”

Rochelle Martin has her BFA  Dance Studies fro LIU Post. Ms. Martin has trained at the Joffery Ballet School and Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater. She has also privately trained with Trutti Gasparnetti. Ms. Martin can be found teaching at Third Street Music Settlement and Broadway Dance Academy. She is a resident Choreographer at Broadhollow Theater on Long Island.  Besides teaching she can be found performing . She has performed at West Point Military Academy, the premiere of Dear Nadezhda, Cara Gargano’s “Mahler Pas de Deux”. Ms. Martin has worked with artists such as Micheal Leon Tjomas, Car Pariess, Cara Gargano, Cheryl Halliburton, Svetlana Caton,Venti Petrov and many more.

The Moving Architects

Erin Carlisle Norton is Artistic Director of the nonprofit female-centric dance company The Moving Architects.  Founded in Chicago in 2007 and currently based in NJ/NYC, TMA has an extensive teaching and performance history.  Highlights for TMA have included touring Central Asia with the US Department of State; national performances at The Dance Complex (Boston), Point Park University (PA), Links Hall (Chicago), Columbus Dance Theater (OH), and yearly residencies at Wilson College (PA); and notable NYC-area performances at BAM Fisher, Triskelion Arts, Gibney, and Bryant Park presents Contemporary Dance.  TMA hosts and produces the dance interview podcast Movers & Shapers: A Dance Podcast and leads the pay-what-you-can movement program Community Movement Project in NJ.
