RUBIX Dance Collective
Performing  “Near Light”
Choreography by Alexa Lindberg

Alexa Lindberg is a choreographer based out of New York. She has been Dancing for 20 years, and choreographing professionally for eight. She currently practices her passion for teaching at Wegrow school, where she teaches young learners the joy of dance. She is also the choreographer for Studio Jacked Dance Company’s competition dance team. She began RUBIX Dance Collective four years ago as a passion project, and has watched it flourish into something she’s only dreamed of. Her goal is to create a safe and therapeutic space for movers to to remind them of the joy of dance. A place to create freely and express themselves safely. Her work is truly a collective. The music, the poems and the direction are all mainly created by local artists. We create together from the ground up, to make each piece authentically ours.
