A DP TV Program Entr’acte by Phoebe Holden
About This Show
“Entr’acte” is a 45 minute play about ballet, dreams, and repressed female queerness. It follows ballet dancer Claire’s final semester in college as she starts remembering her dreams and is forced to reckon with what they contain. Through dance and dream journal entries, we watch Claire’s first steps towards acknowledging and accepting herself as a queer woman in a heteronormative and restrained ballet world.
