Doris and Cleveland were dating until Doris took a job out of town for a year. Now with  Doris back in town, they try to rekindle the old flame.

About the Artists

Jack Spagnola is a Brooklyn based playwright. His full length plays include Lou (an unexpected search for friendship) and Doris and Cleveland. His one-acts include: Food Chain (Manhattan Repertory Theatre and third place 2014 Five College Denis Johnston Playwriting Competition),

The World’s Best Therapist (finalist Strawberry One-Act Festival), A Room for Four (Piccolo Theatre), and Blind Banana (Dixon Place). His 10-Minute plays include, A Romance (winner Manhattan International Theater’s Short Play Lab) and Flirting with Age (Santa Cruz Actors’ Theatre). His work has been produced and developed at The Lark, The Tank, The Kraine, and Dixon Place.

Corey Ruzicano is a theatre artist from the San Francisco Bay Area. In New York she has assisted on Sweet Charity (The New Group), The Boy at the Edge of Everything (Lincoln Center Education) and Dust Can’t Kill Me (NYMF). While pursuing her BFA at Emerson College she went through the Creative Producing program under P. Carl and David Dower, and continues to write for HowlRound. She has completed apprenticeships at the Lark, the Orchard Project and the 52nd Street Project and is the Creative Projects Manager of A BroaderWay and of Siena Music.

Talia Heller is a actress and comedian from Miami, FL. She has a BFA in acting from Emerson College and since moving to the city has continued her training in improv and sketch at Upright Citizens Brigade. She performs regularly with her indie improv teams Partydads and Suze, and directs 5 Things with Hilton Dresden on Out.com.

Niccolo Walsh is a candidate for SAG/AFTRA Membership. He will next be seen promoting the LGBT period short SUNSET on the film festival circuit. Favorite theater credits include Giuliano in BIG LOVE (Emerson Stage), Doug in GRUESOME PLAYGROUND INJURIES (Emerson College) and John in POLAR BEARS (Emerson College). Niccolo got his start performing and touring as a child vocalist at venues including The Vatican, Dorothy Chandler Pavilion (with The Los Angeles Opera) and Walt Disney Concert Hall.

Karsten Otto is an actor/writer/producer living in Brooklyn and working wherever anyone is game to play. New York: The Dudleys! (HERE Arts/ Jacob Titus), The Tower (HERE Arts/ Philip Gates), Locked Up B*tches (The PIT/ Michael Raine), Trees in their Youth (Pershing Square Signature Center/ Kristan Seemal), The Mysteries (The Flea/ Ed Sylvanus Iskandar.) Jose Gamo is a Filipino actor and director born and raised in Indonesia and a recent graduate of the Fordham University theater program. Acting: Comfort Woman at Midtown Theater Festival, The Clockwork Boy at Hudson Guild Theatre, Forbidden Colors at LaMama, The Orphan of Zhao (dir. Ralph Peña), The Fork (dir. Will Davis), Measure for Measure (Claudio) at Fordham University. Direction: Intriguing Engagements at NYC Fringe, In the Heart of America, The Swan, Ugly Lies the Bone (AD) at Fordham University.

Brenna Sweet is an actor born and raised in New York, currently living in Boston. Recently she has been seen in The Boston Theatre Marathon (I Don’t Know, Company One), as Emily (Rabbit, Hot Summers Productions) and as Vera (In the Wake of the Graybow Riots, Sleeping Weazel).  She is also an Actor/ Facilitator for True to Life Training, touring camps, colleges, and Universities teaching interpersonal communication skills. She is an avid Zumba participant and pup enthusiast.
