in the lounge Dealer’s Joyce, or Alternative Bloomsday Another Rising Productions

About This Show

Has Leopold lost his Bloom? Do you wish Molly would just say no? Are you tired of kidneys with the fine tang of faintly-scented urine? (And who isn’t?)

Then join Joseph Goodrich, Honor Molloy, Maeve Price, and Michelle Woods to feast instead on selections from Pomes Penny Each, Exiles, Portrait of the Artist as a Young Man, and Finnegans Wake.

About the Artists

Joseph Goodrich hails from Worthington, Minnesota. But he’s long been a devotee of Irish literature and travels to Dublin whenever he can.

Honor Molloy was born in the Rotunda Hospital, round the corner from the Garden of Me-memorees. She first read Joyce under the green lamps in the reading room at the National Library of Ireland.

Maeve Price originates from Skerries, Co. Dublin – not too far from the James Joyce Tower at Sandycove, if you swim North. She is delighted to return to Dixon Place with Dealer’s Joyce.

Michelle Woods has never been to Gibraltar, can’t hum Love’s Old Sweet Song, and grew up eating sand and cheese sandwiches on Dollymount Strand.
