Actor-Writer-Monologist, David Dean Bottrell performs his highly-acclaimed comic storytelling show that the Los Angeles Times called “hysterical” and SoCal Public Radio deemed “profane, hilarious, and moving.”  In this newly revised 2019 version of the show, Bottrell revisits how love and sex (or the lack thereof) have affected the course of his life from age five to the present!  Directed by Guy Stroman.  Produced by Akia Squitieri

ABOUT THE ARTIST

David Dean Bottrell’s theatre many credits include productions at Second Stage, Long Wharf, LaMama, Actors Theatre of Louisville (Humana Festival), Walnut Street Theatre, Philadelphia Theatre Company, People’s Light and Theatre Company and Sci-Fest LA.  He’s also an original cast member of Streep Tease: An Evening of Monologues from Meryl Streep Movies Performed by an All-Male Cast at Joe’s Pub (as well as runs in L.A. and San Francisco.  On television, he’s played guest star and recurring roles in many shows including Modern Family, Blacklist, SVU, Rectify, Longmire, Criminal Minds, NCIS, CSI, Mad Men, True Blood, Justified, Ugly Betty and Boston Legal to name a few.  He co-wrote the screenplay for Fox Searchlight’s hit Kingdom Come and is the author of a brand-new book, Working Actor: Breaking In, Making a Life and Making a Living in the Fabulous Trenches of Show Business published by Random House / Ten Speed Press.
