Prince Madithaan loves the party life but his kingdom is in danger.  His father tells him it’s his responsibility is to marry a princess… and then his best friend confesses their love for him.  Also, the princess is kinda hot. What’s a poor prince to do?

About the artists

Joe Raik is co-founder and Artistic Director of Occupy Verona, a company that creates theatre spontaneously in public spaces throughout NYC. As director for OV, he has helmed productions of ‘Romeo and Juliet,’ ‘Henry V,’ and the ‘Shakespeare Brawl Crawl.’ Other directing credits include ‘Twelfth Night’ (Monday Theatre Co.), ‘Catch the Spider’ (True False Theatre), ‘The Brink’ (Venus Theatre Festival), and a developmental reading of ‘Did Somebody Order a Pizza’ by Sarah DeLappe.

Julianne Lavallee is a Chicago born actor and writer. Two of Jules’ plays, ‘DisCards: A Shakespearean Reshuffle’ and ‘The Culture of Now,’ were recently staged at The Acorn Theatre, Dixon Place, and Manhattan Repertory Theater.  Lavallee’s short piece “Soul Food” debuted in June at Beyond the Ingénue in El Barrio’s Shakespeare Festival. Some of Julianne’s favorite roles include Puck in ‘A Midsummer Night’s Dream,’ Samantha in ’16’, and Vixen in ‘The Eight: Reindeer Monologues.’

Alexandra Cremer* (Juleigh) is thrilled to be a part of the Damned. Favorite roles include Gertrude in Hamlet, Goneril in King Kear, Titania in Midsummer Nights Dream. Film and TV credits include lead roles in the Award winning short film Relevance, the web series Math Warriors and a featured role in Orange is the New Black. Alexandra also wrote and produced RANT! a one woman show about Shakespeare, love and the horror of online dating. For more info check out Alexandracremer.weebly.com 

Andrew Dinan (King Aaniyen) is a New York based actor. Some recent performances: Mr. Latimer (The Dover Road), Harvey (The Cool Table), Macbeth (Macbeth), John Upton (The Robbery), Warden (Lincoln’s Birthday), Sen. Preston Bush (Space Race), Rich (DisCards), Onslow (The Lady in the Hall) (Hyacinth Goes Camping). 

Christina Gombola (Stage Manager) Born and raised in Gainesville, Florida, began acting onstage in middle school and continued through high school. While in high school she began working backstage at her local community play house. In 2016, she moved to New York to attend school at the American Musical and Dramatic Academy where she received her Associates Degree in Acting. Since her graduation in September 2017, Christina has been working as a stage manager for such shows as Our Own Odyssey, Surfacing, and Gay Best Friend as well as acting onstage in such plays as F*cked Up Fairy Tales, A Christmas Carol, and And Then There Were None. 

Christopher Marshall (Madithaan) is a classical actor/director and writer who has starred in over 80 roles in 7.5 years. He graduated with his MA in Acting (2013) and quickly moved to New York. Currently, he studies Classical Acting from renowned teacher Sybil Lines. He also studies with Shakespeare & Company and received a scholarship to their month-long intensive in January. Christopher studied under Phylicia Rashad and Ruben Santiago-Hudson at Stella Adler. He’s also worked with artists such as Bill Duke, Taye Diggs, Aaron Paul, Harry Lennix, Sister Sonia Sanchez, et al. He’s excited to be a part of this production. Brandon Mosley (Eelain) Florida native, grew up indulged in the magnet program while attending Douglas Anderson School of the Arts. While participating in numerous shows such as Hairspray and The Good Times Are Killing Me, Mosley also began his career in Clarinet and Flute studies where he would go on to graduate from New York University in Music Performance. After great accomplishments with music he plans to invite his passion for acting into his extensive career as an entertainer. He looks forward to adding many more plays, musicals, tv shows and movies to his list of accomplishments. 

Becca Musser (Iilyan) is an Austin, TX transplant who primarily identifies as a Shakespeare nerd, budding verse playwright, fight gal, musician, and aerialist. Some recent favorite roles include Bardolph/Westmoreland in Henry V (Occupy Verona), Launce in T wo (gentlemen) of Verona (Monsterpiece Theatre), Fontaine in T he Brutes ( spit&vigor), Cressida in Troilus and Cressida, Tybalt in Romeo and Juliet (Something for Nothing Theater), and Cassandra in T he Trojan Women (The Baron’s Men). Since moving up to NYC, she’s trained with Jared Kirby/NYCSS, Turn to Flesh, Shakespeare & Company, The Shakespeare Forum, and The Humanist Project. 

Jesenia Pineada (Sam/Y Ddraig/Messanger) is a recent graduate of The American Academy of Dramatic Arts. She has performed in multiple music videos as well as on stage as King Henry in Occupy Verona’s King Henry V – Occupy Harry. Jesenia is very excited to fulfill a dream of working on a play filled with magic and mystery just like the ones she has grown up reading. She sends love and thanks to all her family and friends for their support throughout her journey. 

Alex Rafala (Lord Cadogan) Regional Credits: Billy Bibbit in ONE FLEW OVER THE CUCKOO’S NEST and Peter Van Daan in THE DIARY OF ANNE FRANK (Playhouse on Park). Touring Credits: The ArtsPower production of MY HEART IN A SUITCASE. Andrew Ricks (Master Draioch) comes to New York all the way from Milwaukee, Wi. He is very proud to be a part of Damned. His stage credits range from classical Shakespeare (Midsummer Night’s Dream, King Harry V, & Twelfth Night) to more “diverse” contemporary works that showcase African Americans in a different light (Corktown, Before It Hits Home, & Stick Fly). He knows you will enjoy the show, there’s no doubt about it.
