About This Show

Over the centuries, the planet Constellarium has provided sanctuary to planets that have collapsed in on themselves. In this play, the sitting President of Constellarium addresses his planet’s newest hosts in a series of speeches that span the course of a year.

about the artist

Arif Silverman is a native New Yorker and recent graduate of Oberlin College. Previous credits at Dixon Place include his feature film Bless Me, Apollo, his first one man show Nolie Min Tangible, and his short film Steps. Other recent credits include An Octoroon (Dobama Theater), Romeo and Juliet (The New Euripides), Treasure in NYC (Kaiser’s Room), Spirits to Enforce (Cleveland Public Theater), and The Bacchae (Edinburgh Fringe Festival).
