A dark comedy about a gardener who is invited to be part of the house staff of a mansion. While inside, he gets more than he bargained for while dealing with other members of the staff.

about the artists

John Budge received his BFA in Acting from the University of Montana and while there, co-founded the Buttenik Ensemble, a theater dedicated to creating and performing original works. His plays have been featured at The Brick, JACK and The Bushwick Starr Reading Series. In recent years, John created Budge Films for his ideas that were better suited for the screen than the stage (www.budgefilms.com). He received his MFA in Playwriting from Brooklyn College in 2015.  

As a pre-pre-emerging director, Charles Quittner’s work has been seen at Primary Stages Studios, Marymount Manhattan College, and his very own backyard. He has produced several shows for his company, Envelope Ensemble, the off broadway short musical festival Sound Bites 2014 (also curated!), Theatre Plastique, and various independent shows. He has assisted on shows at Soho Rep, The Bushwick Starr, HERE Arts, Theatre for a New Audience, Public Works and Primary Stages. He has a BA in Theatre Studies from Marymount Manhattan College.

Off-Broadway, Rebecca Nell Robertson was Theatre Manager at Barrow Street Theatre during commercial runs of Bug, Eat the Taste, & TJ & Dave, and Company Manager for Orson’s Shadow. As Managing Director of Theatre New York, she worked on the Sound Bites 10-Minute Musical Festival and the TNNY Raw Reading Series. Rebecca has stage managed or directed several NYC off-off-Broadway and festival productions.  Rebecca “daylights” in an administrative support role at a small NYC investment management firm that serves foundations and endowments. She holds a BFA & an MA in Theatre from Stephen F. Austin State University.
