From her humble beginnings as a tweenage donut-maker in smalltown Massachusetts, through a me-generational guantlet of discoballs, body dysmorphia, designer dreams, and debatable dates with destiny, Starsky illumines our universal quest for value and validation, alighting on divinely human and hilarious realizations along the pro-creative path toward planetary parenthood.

Stella Starsky is writer, performer and creator of American Baroness, (www.americanbaroness.com), a cultural site dedicated to empowering and ennobling childfree women. She holds a Masters in Applied Positive Psychology, runs a private consultancy, and has been a columnist and contributor to such publications as Paris Vogue, Elle, The Daily Beast, Cosmopolitan, Allure, Glamour, The Times (London) . She is half of the performing and writing team Starsky + Cox and co-author of the bestselling books Sextrology (HarperCollins) and Cosmic Coupling (Random House). She has performed onstage at Joe’s Pub at the Public Theater, Ars Nova and The Zipper Factory in New York City, at Oberon/American Repertory Theater in Cambridge, and at the Afterglow Festival in Provincetown, MA. She has appeared on numerous television and radio talk shows and was a regular featured guest on “Chelsea Lately” on E!
