In 2013 we started to bring music to our author readings at book launches. Spoken words, no matter how masterfully crafted, can be difficult for a live audience to absorb. Interstitial music and performed dialog bring action and liveliness to a reading. The Valentine’s Day performance features three bittersweet love scenes from novels, interspersed with Leah Wells’ ballads of heartache and passion.
