About This Show

GF&CO’s adaptation of Dylan Thomas’ beloved classic poem grew out of our yearly holiday tradition of reading the poem aloud every December. Over time it grew into this staged reading. With one actor reading the role of the mature Thomas as he looks back upon his childhood memories, four other actors read a multitude of secondary characters, creating a wide variety of memorable personalities. The result is a delightfully sweet confection for the season. We hope this reading becomes a seasonal favorite for others as it has for us, offering audiences a free indulgence in the spirit of the season!
