Dixon Place hosts VISIONS Contemporary Ballet 10-year Anniversary Performance: Healing Works Ranardo-Domeico Grays Founder/Artistic Director

About This Show

Ranardo-Domeico Grays, artistic director and choreographer of VISIONS Contemporary Ballet and a three-year brain cancer survivor, is now creatively flourishing with a new ballet, “Through the Valley,” inspired by his journey.  In “Healing Works,” the company’s 10-year anniversary performance, Ranardo presents “Through the Valley” and two other inspirational contemporary ballet works.” “Through the Valley” explores facing obstacles in one’s fight for health and life. “Beautiful Madness,” based on three poems written and read by Ranardo, reveals three sides of one person and will be performed by Rebekah Kennedy, returning original founding member.  “Roots,” rooted in prayer, is about self-growth.
