HOT!, the oldest annual festival of its kind in the world, never stales as its fresh line-up continues to deliver innovative works in theater, music, dance, circus arts, literature, visual art & homoeroticism for the whole family! Festival runs from July – August 2017.
The longest-running annual LGBTQ festival in the world, HOT! has been a pioneer of queer arts & culture for 26 years. Dixon Place is proud that this festival serves as a model for other queer festivals across the globe & offers an artistic refuge to so many passionate voices in our community.
Over the years, HOT! has included such notable performers as Marga Gomez, Reno, Justin Vivian Bond, John Fleck, Kate Bornstein, Lisa Kron, Lea DeLaria, Penny Arcade, Craig Lucas, Samuel R. Delaney, Eileen Myles & Peggy Shaw.
As in past years, 2017 promises to be diverse & inclusive, presenting work that pushes your buttons, stirs your emotions & delivers explicit, flat-out entertainment.
This year trans Sri-Lankan American comic D’Lo headlines the festival in To T, or Not to T alongside a spectacular array or new yorks finest queer artists.
