They're here. They're queer. And they're making their mark in music, performance art, comedy and video! Some call it climbing, a new generation of queer female artists know it's about visibility. This month's "Money of the Month" performance features breakout artists from New York's queer gal, we-don't-want-your-stinking-labels! arts and activist scene. These artists are creating complex and entertaining work that challenges the norms of an increasingly homogenous and reactionary culture; in the process they are building and reinforcing a community of creative resistance.
