About the Artist

Angelica Baker‘s fiction has appeared in Violet &  One Teen Story. Her essays & reviews have appeared in The Los Angeles Review of Books, The Rumpus & elsewhere. She received her MFA in Fiction from Columbia University, where she also taught undergraduate creative writing.

Willy Wilkinson, MPH is an award-winning, Asian American, transgender writer, public health consultant, cultural competency trainer, public speaker & spoken word performer. He is the author of the book Born on the Edge of Race and Gender: A Voice for Cultural Competency, which transforms the memoir genre into a cultural competency tool & uses the power of storytelling to contextualize the transgender social, legislative & policy battles of our time. Willy is the recipient of a National Lesbian and Gay Journalists Association award & the Transgender Law Center Vanguard Award. He is recognized on the Trans 100.
