Experiments and Disorders is DP’s long running literary series, curated by Christen Clifford and Tom Cole. Recent participants include: Lynne Tillman, Paul Lisicky, Karen Lillis, Ethan Lipton, Phillip Lopate, Laurie Stone, Rebekah Rutcoff, Patty Powers, McKenzie Wark, John Wray, and Eileen Myles.

ABOUT THE ARTISTS

Chiara Bottici is a philosopher and a writer. She is Associate Professor of Philosophy at the New School for Social Research and the author of several books, including Imaginal Politics: Images beyond Imagination and The Imaginary (Columbia University Press 2014) and A Philosophy of Political Myth (Cambridge University Press 2007).  Her short stories have appeared in Il Caffe illustrato (2012-2013) and in Nati in casa (Altica edizioni 2009). Her major literary work Per tre miti, forse quattro (With Three Myths, Maybe Four) is forthcoming with Manni Editore in 2015. Since the spring 2015, she has been collaborating with artist, filmmaker and photographer Marc Lafia.

finkle is the alter ego of playwright Kenny Finkle.  finkle is a singer/songwriter/storyteller/performer and visual artist. He has begun a series of non traditional theatrical works with music entitled HEART MUST RACE. The first piece U R ★is a graphic novel musical for audiences of three. It has been developed and presented with support from the Orchard Project and the American Repertory Theatre. The second piece The 1993 Melancholy Experience is an audio drama with songs for audiences to listen to with their eyes closed. It has been developed as part of the Keen Company’s Playwright’s Lab.
