Gershwin Live at Dixon Place: Looptastic Featuring KPage Stuart
About This Show
After 10 years of leading the band, KPage and Sleepwalker’s Parade, lead vocalist and composer, KPage, left to explore the vast possibilities of the human voice as a solo instrument. Her initial experiments utilized a simple guitar looper. That led to collaborations with some of downtown’s great jazz improvisers. Now, using a Boss looper devised for DJs, her sonic explorations have a range of textures, melodic and harmonic intricacy, and a newfound depth of raw emotion. The human voice unleashed is Looptastic.
