Yes She Cannes! Jackie Abbott and Ellen Haun
About This Show
The Yes She Cannes! Film Festival was created when the Cannes Film Festival (the premiere film festival for film festivals all over the entire world) realized they had a lady problem. Namely, a problem of not having ladies, and sexually harassing the ones they did have. Instead of including more films written by, directed by, and starring women, the Cannes Film Festival created a totally separate film festival featuring chick flicks and a tent promoting organic tampons. That totally separate film festival is Yes She Cannes! And Yes She Cannes! is the comedic two-woman play about the fake film festival Yes She Cannes! Does the Yes She Cannes! Film Festival solve the problem of women in film in 60 minutes? Oh, yeah, definitely.
